Intumescent halogen-free flame retardants: This type of flame retardant mainly acts through the condensed phase. At a lower temperature, the acid source can produce esterified polyol (carbon source) and acid which can be used as a dehydrating agent; at a slightly higher temperature, the acid and polyol (carbon source) are esterified, and the amine in the system is used as a catalyst for the esterification reaction to accelerate the reaction.
