Information

Intumescent halogen-free flame retardant: this kind of flame retardant mainly acts through condensed phase. At lower temperature, the acid source can produce esterification polyol (carbon source) and can be used as dehydrating agent acid; at a slightly higher temperature, the acid and polyol (carbon source) are esterified, and amine in the system is used as catalyst to accelerate the reaction.

Phosphorus based halogen-free flame retardant: the series of flame retardants include a variety of, such as red phosphorus masterbatch, resorcinol BIS, etc. Red phosphorus masterbatch has the advantages of low smoke, high flame retardant efficiency, no dust pollution, excellent processing performance, low density, good thermal stability, less degradation of physical properties of products, no frost, no migration and no corrosion of mold during processing. Resorcinol has the characteristics of high flame retardancy, low addition and little effect on the physical properties of the product.

Nitrogen based halogen-free flame retardants: nitrogen based flame retardants are melamine and its compounds with phosphorus, mainly melamine, melamine cyanuric acid and melamine phosphate. Nitrogen based flame retardants have many advantages: high efficiency flame retardant; no halogen; no corrosive effect, so as to reduce the problem of mechanical corrosion; resistance to ultraviolet light; good electrical performance, the most obvious advantage in electronic and electrical products; no fading, no frost; recyclable.

Inorganic halogen-free flame retardant: inorganic flame retardant is mainly composed of aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide. This kind of flame retardant has many advantages, but also has the disadvantage of large amount of addition, which will affect the performance of products.

Environmental friendly brominated halogen-free flame retardants: these flame retardants include decabromodiphenylethane, brominated epoxy resin and brominated polystyrene. When decabromodiphenylethane burns, it will not produce PBDD or pbdf. It has good thermal stability and light resistance. The most valuable thing is that its flame retardant plastics can also be recycled. Brominated epoxy resin is also known as tetrabromobisphenol A epoxy resin oligomer. Brominated epoxy resin has satisfactory melt flow rate, high flame retardant efficiency, excellent thermal stability and light stability, and can give the flame retardant substrate good mechanical properties, and the product does not frost.

Brominated polystyrene is mainly used in PA, PBT, pet and other thermoplastic resins, and it needs to be used with antimony compounds.
